Guo Kai, Vice President of the Canada-Hunan Chamber of Commerce, recently visited the Hunan Cuisine Ingredients Industry Alliance. Both parties agreed to collaborate on promoting Hunan ingredients and prepared dishes in Canada in 2026.

Alliance Chairman Chen Shengnian highlighted Hunan’s strength as a production hub for prepared dishes, identifying Canada as a strategic gateway to North America. Guo Kai emphasized the Chamber’s role in providing market research, channel matchmaking, and on-the-ground support.

Key discussions covered event format, exhibitor selection, and promotion channels. Both sides plan to launch a "Hunan Cuisine Ingredients Canada Promotion Week."

The Alliance’s Overseas Service Department team—including Duan Xiaoxiao, Liu Jiani (also Head of JYX EXPO), and senior planner Dong Ye—will oversee execution. Drawing on JYX EXPO’s 18 years of experience, they will provide end-to-end services to ensure the initiative’s success.

This partnership marks a solid step toward bringing Hunan’s prepared dishes and cuisine ingredients to a broader international stage.
